Fiona Rosteski LPN

Island Nursing team

Fiona brings a rich and varied background to her work in healthcare, backed by more than twelve years of experience in both nursing and care aide roles. Before beginning her nursing career five years ago, she spent seven years as a care aide, building a strong foundation in hands-on, compassionate support. She also draws on skills from her earlier career as a hairdresser, where she honed her natural ability to connect with people and help them feel at ease.

Her clinical experience spans palliative care, acute care, and geriatrics, and she has supported clients across a wide range of settings. Fiona is currently thriving as a home care nurse, where she values the opportunity to deliver personalized, one-on-one care in the comfort of clients’ homes. She also contributes to minor day procedures at Comox Valley Hospital (CVH), further rounding out her clinical expertise.

Energetic, easy-going, and known for her sense of humour, Fiona is committed to bringing warmth and positivity to those she cares for. She is a proud mother and step-mom, and outside of work she enjoys mountain biking, reading, and spending time with her family.
